September at Vega Schools, a progressive CBSE school in Gurgaon with campuses in Sector 48 and Sector 76 Gurugram, was a month full of learning, laughter, gratitude, and inspiration. As we turn the page to a new month, here’s a look back at the moments that made it special.
Student-Led Conferences and Term 1 Project Exhibition
The month began with one of our proudest traditions: the Student-Led Conferences. Instead of simply hearing about their child’s progress, parents watched students take charge. First, students walked their parents through their learning journeys and shared their goals. Then, they reflected on their strengths and spoke openly about areas to grow.
Alongside the conferences, the Term 1 Project Exhibition turned our campus into a showcase of curiosity and creativity. From working models to research displays, every project reflected hours of teamwork and real-world thinking. As a result, seeing students confidently explain their ideas to visitors reminded us what learning by doing can achieve at a project based learning school in Gurgaon.
Teachers’ Day: A Day Out to Remember
This year, we celebrated Teachers’ Day outside the classroom walls. Every member of the Vega family headed out together for a day of fun. In fact, students, teachers, the admin team, and support staff all joined in.
The music started early, and the dance floor filled up fast. Students and teachers danced side by side, with no ranks and no roles, just pure joy. Meanwhile, tables overflowed with delicious food that everyone shared, and conversations flowed as easily as the laughter. Teachers who usually spend their days guiding us got to relax. In turn, students saw their mentors in a whole new light.
Overall, it was a day of gratitude, bonding, and togetherness. Moreover, it reminded us that the strongest school communities grow from genuine connection.
Special Assembly
Next, our special assembly brought the whole school together through presentations, performances, and student voices. Above all, it highlighted the values that define Vega Schools: respect, responsibility, and a spirit of togetherness.
Storytelling Session
Few things spark imagination like a good story. Our storytelling session transported students into worlds of adventure, humour, and wisdom. Eyes widened, and laughter rang out. In addition, the session encouraged young minds to listen, imagine, and express themselves.
A Motivational Address by Gen. Bakshi
A highlight of the month was the inspiring talk by Gen. Bakshi. Drawing on a life of service, discipline, and leadership, he spoke to students about courage, perseverance, and setting big goals. Consequently, his words struck a chord with students and teachers alike.
Looking Ahead
September showed us once again that Vega Schools is more than a place of academics. Indeed, it is a holistic education school in Gurgaon where students lead, teachers inspire, and everyone belongs. This sense of community is a big reason families exploring the best schools in Gurgaon look closely at Vega. Finally, thank you to our students, parents, and staff for making this month so memorable.
Here’s to carrying this energy into the months ahead!
