Through my experiences, I have noticed that Art and music education foster collaboration and group learning. They bring people and children together, helping them learn from, and aid each other as they persevere towards creating something. They improve emotional balance and help kids become team players. They also improve accountability, as kids claim responsibility for their mistakes and accept their faults when working together.
As a student of Music, I am continuously experiencing the effect of Music in all spheres of human life and how it affects the intellectual and cultural acumen of people around me. Music like colloquial thoughts is no longer a medium of entertainment. I find the use of it more as a Therapeutic medium in the present academia. I have found that over the years my music training has helped me communicate better with people from all spheres, and diverse backgrounds and yet reach a common platform of communication. My journey in this genre has given me a broader platform to communicate with different kinds of people and helped me realize that the sense of Music if articulated from a young age, could develop into a finer sense of emotional intelligence and a sort of balance and stability, which duly reflects in both academic and professional environment.
