A 17-year-old boy from an influential family ran over and killed a man with his Mercedes. His parents initially denied his involvement, shielding him due to his minor status. Further investigations revealed he was a repeat traffic offender, enabled by his parents’ leniency.

Similarly, in a notorious murder case at a well- known school, the parents of the accused 16-year-old boy defended him, despite evidence of guilt. Their refusal to accept his actions delayed justice for the victim’s family.

they believe they can escape consequences. Instead, let’s ask, “How can we address this together?”

Schools and parents share a mission: nurturing kind, capable, and responsible individuals. Trust us to be on the same team. Let’s work hand in hand to ensure children take accountability and grow into their best selves.
