According to Paul Osincup (Humor Strategist), \u201cHumor is the new mindfulness.\u201d You can actually train your brain to see and experience humor more often. Humor creates a chemical reaction in the brain that can elevate one\u2019s mood. The&nbsp;research&nbsp;proves that happier employees are more productive. When you find something funny, your brain is, as Osincup says, \u201cFlooded with a dose of happiness.\u201d And dose is an acronym, as in D.O.S.E.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>D is for Dopamine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O is for Oxytocin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S is for Serotonin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E is for Endorphins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t have to be naturally funny to become good at using humor. Osincup says, \u201cHumor is not a talent. Humor is a habit.\u201d And he suggests the first step is to self-train your brain toward a funny focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today\u2019s workplace is very different from the one a decade or two ago.
