Children of today are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.&nbsp;They are good learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every parent aspires to prioritize their child&#8217;s needs before all other obligations. A better educational system designed with a lot of love and attention is every parent\u2019s aspiration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a teacher at one of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vega.edu.in\/\">top schools in Gurgaon<\/a>, I&#8217;d like to offer some guidance to parents so they may support their children at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Establish a Daily Routine<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To focus on better and structured learning, we as parents need to first look into their children\u2019s daily routines. They should include fun factors along with a daily hygiene routine. Plan age-appropriate learning activities not more than 20-30 minutes with a mix of academic and physical activities to keep children attentive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Create a Learning Space<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Each child searches for a private space at home. Your child&#8217;s learning environment requires a tiny desk, a learning tool, a few books, and stationery. Use cardboard pieces or curtains to partition it, and let your youngster design it on their own. The daily schedule and their artwork can also be taped to the wall or desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Encourage reading<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Encouraging your child to read can help improve vocabulary, comprehension skills, and overall academic performance. Consider reading with the child, and provide age-appropriate books and reading materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Use technology to your advantage<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>With so many educational apps and online resources available, technology can be an excellent tool to support your child&#8217;s learning at home. Consider downloading educational apps, watching educational videos, or using online learning resources to supplement your education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Encourage curiosity<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Encourage your child&#8217;s natural curiosity by exposing the child to a wide range of subjects and activities. Take the child on field trips, encourage the child to ask questions, and support interests and hobbies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Make learning fun<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning should be engaging and enjoyable for your child. Incorporate games, hands-on activities, and experiments into education to make it more fun and exciting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li><strong>Reward Banks With Realistic Objectives<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Have age-appropriate conversations with your child about goals. It might be challenging to explain to a child the value of education. Moreover, kids have limited attention spans and have trouble staying still for extended periods. Setting achievable goals and offering rewards will help you get through this. Lots of compliments and star banks can be much better rewards for your youngster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"8\">\n<li><strong>Exercising to lower stress<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Regular exercise helps release stored-up energy and reduces the child&#8217;s stress levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\">\n<li><strong>Provide suitable emotional support<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>You can be a better parent to your child by listening to and respecting the child\u2019s feelings. An instructive approach can annoy the child and has the opposite impact. If children feel pressured and cut off, they typically refuse to learn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Share with children that you are paying attention and that you are aware of their struggles. Most of the time, what children need is someone to comfort them and acknowledge their feelings.
