Students from different strata of cultures mingle together to form great heterogeneous groups, giving opportunities to all to explore their understanding and tolerance of the differences. Giving impetus to this are the teachers from different cultures. With their diverse backgrounds, they can serve as positive role models for inspiring understanding, empathy, and compassion. They also provide windows of opportunity for validation when students see teachers from similar cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than the teachers themselves being from different cultures, possessing an understanding and appreciation of diversity ensures greater cultural tolerance in a classroom.
